About our Speaker...

Daniel Booth is in his first year as superintendent at Carbondale Community High School.  Prior to becoming the district leader at CCHS, Mr. Booth served as principal, assistant principal, dean of students, health/driver education teacher and coach for more than 12 years at Carbondale Community High School before taking his first superintendent position at Carbondale Elementary School District 95 for three years.   Mr. Booth received both his bachelors and master's degrees from SIU-Carbondale and is currently a doctoral candidate in SIU-C's Educational Administration Program.  Mr. Booth is married to the love of his life, Ashley, and is committed to being the best dad to the couple’s three children, Jaxon, Delaney, and Bellamy.
